The Black River along
with the waters from the White one, from the Itanhaém
River. It stretches for almost 30 km and has many
tributary rivers such as the Rio Caepupú, Bananal, Itariri e Taquarú
among many others.
Its waters are pure,
even though dark, looking like tea. It's source is
surrounded by dark mud which organic components are
natural hydrates. Its banks are surrounded by the forest
and the marshes. Along its course there are beaches of
white and dark sands. It's a tropical sanctuary for the
birds of the Atlantic Forest that are always around, a
true unforgettable spectacle of rare beauty.
