The Sapucaitava Hill
along with the Piragüíra Hills are parts of one that is
considered among
the most beautiful panoramas of the city. It can be seen
across from the Itanhaém River, on the Downtown Beach as well as
for the observer who is on the Fishermen's Beach. The hill has a rocky coastline
pointing to the direction of Saint Vincent. There's an
ecologic trail leading to its top from where amazing
panoramas are unveiled such as those of Fishermen's
Beach, Dream Beach, The Queimadas Islands and the Givurá
Island.
The hill is very well
preserved and has many original species of the flora of
the Atlantic Forest, sheltering birds and small animals
such as the famous Saruê. There is also another trail that
leads to the Saudade Beach. The ones lucky enough to
stay at the hotel across from the Itanhaém River, has
all this panorama at the front door - the beach, the
river and the hills that are beautifully covered with the Atlantic Forest.
